Abstract: The goals of this analysis includes: 1) investigate the association between exposure to violence and substance use among U.S. high school students 2) distinguish the varying degrees of impacts of different forms of violence 3) determine whether this association differs between perpetrators and victims of physical violence. This study will focus on the question of whether teenagers with a history of physical violence involvement have a higher likelihood of using drugs compared to those without such a history?”
