Abstract: Healthcare access and reform has been a critical issue in recent US politics, especially in regards to the COVID-19 Pandemic and access to reproductive healthcare. The 2024 ANES Timeseries Election Survey is a nationally representative sample of the US voting-eligible population gathered right before and right after the 2024 US presidential election. This study examines data from the survey in order to answer how voters opinions on the US healthcare system and individual concerns about paying for health insurance related to their chosen candidate in the 2024 election. The research conducted found that Trump voters reported greater concern about paying for their health insurance than Harris voters while simultaneously rating the US system as more adequately guaranteeing healthcare.
